Turning the product into a brand challenge.
This was submitted to the blog by a reader but in full disclosure; I and my creative partner worked on this campaign and it took us and the team over at BUZZMAN a year to make, to change the entire manufacturing process, convince the client and get the product to the shelves. It was fantastic to see someone liked it enough to submit it as a post, I and everyone at BUZZMAN hope you enjoy and if you’re in France - get giving ;)
MINI Canada and Anomaly created an exhilarating execution for the brand’s ‘Not Normal’ campaign.
To show off the vehicle’s go-kart handling, three MINI Cooper S models were redesigned to look like a roller coaster (with the help of production company, Asymetric).
The customized MINI Roller coaster was refitted by removing the roof and rear seats, replacing them with roller coaster carts, frames, LEDs, decals, and wind blowers to add to the thrilling experience.
Once the coaster was street ready, professional drivers drove throughout the streets of downtown Toronto with screaming riders as if they were barreling down the street at 110 miles per hour.
Nescafé uses the Mexican agency Rojkind Arquitectos in order to achieve an urban sculpture in the Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico DF. The only obligation for the artists : to be made up of some 1,500 coffee mugs available to them. A beautiful public installation and a really clever appropriation of the object in images.
